1. Position Overview
The Store Supervisor oversees inventory control, material handling, and coordination with procurement and site teams to ensure efficient store operations.
2. Key Responsibilities
2.1 Inventory & Material Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct monthly stock-taking.
- Enforce First-In, First-Out (FIFO) to minimize waste.
- Ensure materials are delivered directly to the unit , avoiding double handling.
- Verify and record material receipts, preventing discrepancies.
- Issue materials based on approved job cards and procurement approvals.
2.2 Security & Compliance
- Restrict access to authorized personnel only.
- Secure high-value materials and prevent unauthorized stock movement.
- Conduct regular audits and submit investigation reports for stock adjustments.
2.3 Procurement & Coordination
- Align stock levels with project schedules.
- Work with buyers to confirm material lead times and supplier reliability.
- Report supplier delays or discrepancies.
- Maintain documentation of all stock transactions .
