Lead or Senior Traffic Engineer Location: Pietermaritzburg Reporting to: Executive Manager: Transportation-KZN
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare quotations for traffic projects Undertake projects with limited guidance Lead traffic and transport planning projects Manage, train, and mentor technical staff Check and supervise technical documents Financial management of projects Marketing and client liaison Conduct site inspections and construction monitoring Additional responsibilities for Lead Traffic Engineer: Prepare Traffic Technical Reports Industry participation and contributions Assist with business development activities Procure and manage specialist sub-service providers Contract admin on projects as requiredQualifications:Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degrees in MEng (Civil Engineering) or BSc (Civil Engineering)
Skills:> 2 years Project Management experience, PrCPM / PMP, Pr Eng, > 10 years Traffic Engineering experience, Geometric and pavement design, Public Transport Planning
