Requirements:A Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field Professional certifications such as CA, or CTA are highly desirable but not essential At least 8-10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior financial management role. Debit order billing / arrears experience Strong background in the service repair industry or a related field, particularly with subscription and recurring revenue models. Proven experience in financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Experience managing and optimizing debit order systems and subscription-based revenue streams. Solid understanding of financial regulations and accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP, etc.). Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing finance team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. Proficient in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, or similar). In-depth knowledge of cash flow management, financial modelling, and risk assessment. Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership:
Lead and manage the finance department to ensure effective and efficient financial operations. Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Provide financial analysis and insights to the CEO and other senior management for strategic decision-making. Establish and manage financial policies and procedures to ensure best practices and compliance. Ensure proper financial controls are in place to protect company assets and mitigate risks. Revenue Management & Strategy:
Oversee the management of subscription-based revenue streams, including the collection, tracking, and reconciliation of debit orders and other recurring payments. Implement and improve revenue recognition processes, ensuring accurate and compliant accounting for subscription revenue. Develop strategies to optimize subscription-based revenue growth while minimizing churn and payment failures. Analyze trends in subscription revenue and work with the marketing and operations teams to develop strategies to boost customer retention and acquisition. Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, margins, cash flow, and profitability. Provide detailed analysis on the financial impact of operational decisions and suggest improvements to
