Description:
Minimum Requirements:Industrial Engineering Degree/Diploma/Certificate (Lean Six Sigma). Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English. 3-5 years experience in an Industrial Engineering role. Previous experience in the manufacturing industry. Experience with high-volume manual and/or semi-automatic processes. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure efficient manufacturing processes. Align schedules with demand forecasts, ensuring material and labour availability. Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and quality teams to meet production targets. Analyse and refine production workflows to reduce waste and improve efficiency. Optimise processes for cost-effective and streamlined production. Ensure smooth operations by optimising resource allocation and minimising downtime. Develop and enforce quality standards for product consistency and compliance. Design efficient plant layouts to improve workflow and productivity. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while maintaining production goals. Track performance, identify inefficiencies, and suggest improvements. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Ideal Candidate Traits:
