Description:
Qualifications:A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant bookkeeping experience. Experience with Sage 300, Accpac & Pastel is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain various financial accounts. Accurately record and verify financial transactions. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures. Create and manage a comprehensive chart of accounts. Post, verify, and allocate transactions in subsidiary accounts. Reconcile subsidiary accounts to ensure consistency. Maintain a balanced and accurate general ledger. Prepare trial balances for review by the financial accountant. Compile, analyze, and summarize financial data for reporting purposes. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Monitor and report on variances from budget projections. Advise management on compliance needs. Assist with additional financial and accounting tasks as required.
