A leading provider of booking and payment solutions in the travel and tourism industry is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to drive financial accuracy, compliance, and strategy. This company connects clients to major online travel agents like Booking.com and Expedia while facilitating seamless payments—now they need a finance expert to keep their numbers sharp and their systems efficient.Financial Record-Keeping – Maintain accurate accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger records.
Financial Reporting – Prepare monthly management accounts , including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Budgeting & Forecasting – Assist in annual budget preparation and financial analysis to support decision-making.
Compliance & Audit Management – Ensure tax compliance, manage audits, and implement internal controls.
Expense & Cash Flow Management – Oversee cash flow, payments, and debtors collection to support financial stability.
Leadership & Team Management – Mentor and develop the finance team, ensuring high performance and efficiency.
Technology & Systems Optimization – Evaluate and improve financial systems, processes, and controls.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in an accounting role, ideally within fintech .
Strong expertise in IFRS, tax regulations, and financial compliance .
Proficiency in Xero, Google Sheets, and Excel .
A strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills .
Proven leadership and team management experience .
A passion for automation, process improvement, and driving efficiency .
Qualification:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA(SA), ACCA, or similar qualification preferred).
