My client in the Medical Private Practice environment is looking for an efficient, friendly and highly organised Medical Receptionist.
In this important role, the incumbent would be the first point of contact for the Practice's patients, ensuring their visit is smooth and welcoming from start to finish.
The incumbent must have a knack for multitasking, excellent communication skills, and a background in medical administration. Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist is an absolute MUST!
Duties and responsibilities include (not to be treated as an exhaustive list):
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar.
- Answer phone calls.
- Answer emails.
- Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays.
- Maintain patient records and update information, as needed.
- Assist with other administrative tasks, as assigned.
The Practice is in the Melrose area, Jhb North - thus, the ideal incumbent must reside close by.
Requirements:
- Medical Receptionist: 3 to 4 years
- Vericlaim: 3 to 4 years
- Administration Officer: 3 to 4 years
Minimum requirements:
• Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist is an absolute MUST! At least 3+ years of being in a Medical receptionist role.
• Excellent organizational and communicating skills.
• Proficiency with medical office software and systems. Experience on Vericlaim system is a MUST.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Friendly, compassionate, and professional demeanour.
