Description:

The role of the Senior Accounts Payable Administrator is to support the finance team in ensuring accuracy and compliance with company guidelines with regards to accounting and reporting policies and procedures relating to Accounts Payable,Cash Books and the opportunity to manage Bookkeeping and Accounts Receivable tasks. The role is responsible for the day to management of the Accounts Payable, Cash Book functions tasks includes the supervision and management of the Accounts Administrators


Main Responsibilities
1. Accounts Payable
- Manage vendor process on ERP system
- Match invoices to purchase orders
- Reconcile supplier balances
2. Cash Book and Banking
- Process transactions on bank accounts
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Manage bank account changes
3. Credit Card Claims
- Process credit card transactions
- Investigate outstanding claims
- Maintain up-to-date list of outstanding claims
4. General Accounting and Administration
- Administer fuel cards and vehicle management
- Maintain vendor list and supporting documentation
- Provide support for audits and other finance tasks

Key Tasks
- Manage and process financial transactions
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Provide administrative support for finance team
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures

Required Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications:
1. Qualification: National Diploma/BTech/BComm or similar qualification with Accounting or Finance as a major
2. Experience: Minimum 4 years relevant working experience, with minimum 2 years' experience supervising a team in an accounts administrative environment
3. Technical Skills: Online banking, accounting package (e.g. SAP, AccPac, IFS), and foreign currency payments
4. Advantageous Skills: BBBEE reporting, accounting experience, shared services environment, and multi-company/multi-entity experience
