Have you managed boutique stores in various suburbs within the Western Cape?Our very well established client with their line of imported upmarket clothing and swimwear requires your expertise multi-tasking in all areas of a small business involving stock rotations, building client relationships, managing staff and budgets / forecasts.This position needs and entrepreneurial mindset. REQUIREMENTS- Matric, tertiary qualification Advantageous
- 5–7 years of experience in retail management, with a proven track record of managing multiple stores or large teams
- Experience in the fashion or apparel industry is highly desirable, of trends, customer preferences, and seasonal demands
- Willingness to travel frequently, as the role often involves visiting multiple store locations
- Flexibility to work during peak retail periods, such as holidays or sales seasons
- Demonstrated experience in staff management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with senior management, store teams, and external partners
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs
- Familiarity with retail management software, POS systems, and data analysis tools.
- Prior experience with ERPLY software system a significant bonus
DUTIES
- Reporting to the Managing Director
- Drive sales growth, meet revenue targets, and improve store performance
- Analyse sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to boost profitability
- Motivate teams, including Store Managers and Sales Associates
- Hiring, training, and developing talent within the stores
- Manage budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability across a group of stores
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives
- Understanding of the retail fashion industry, including market trends, competitor analysis, and customer behaviour
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing the customer experience across multiple locations
