Do you have a sound track-record selling steel products similar to abrasives, fine-grinding and finishing products etc? Our International Client with their very well-established product base requires an independent and systematic Sales Rep to manage Key Accounts and drive new business requirements. REQUIREMENTS- Matric/ Gr 12 / NTC 3
- Previous selling experience of consumable products to industrial ( steel) Markets essential.
- Likeable personality with Good communication skills
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
- Formal Sales Training or qualification is a distinct advantage
- Computer literacy – MS Office and report writing skills
- The ability to communicate with clients on all levels
- Valid driver’s license – company car is supplied
DUTIES
- Weekly servicing of existing customers and building long term relationships
- Cold Calling for new business
- Meeting customer needs and specific requirements
- Maintain and develop customer relationships
- Resolve customer queries by investigating query, developing solution and making recommendations
- Quotations and closing of sales
- Meeting sales targets and negotiating of pricing and costings
- Negotiate pricing and costings and promote new products and special deals
- Advising customers about after sales service
- Giving feedback on sales trends and competitor activities
- Attending weekly sales meetings and completing daily reports
- Representing company at Trade shows and customers workshops for launching new products
- Create call cycle and weekly report
- General administration duties
- Managing stock requirements
