Are you a skilled Debtors Manager with a strong background in collections and credit management? My client is looking for an experienced professional to oversee the debtor function across multiple business units while leading a small team.This role is based in Centurion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee debtor function across different business units, ensuring efficient collections and credit control processes.
- Manage collections for key customers and large accounts , maintaining strong relationships while ensuring timely payments.
- Handle the legal process for overdue accounts and work closely with legal teams to recover outstanding debts.
- Oversee the debtor insurance process , ensuring adequate risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead and mentor a team of 1–3 people , providing guidance and support to optimize performance.
Key Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Credit Management/Finance related.
- Proven experience in debtor management, credit control, or collections.
- Strong knowledge of legal processes related to debt collection.
- Experience handling debtor insurance and risk management.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
