Are you a seasoned HR/IR professional looking for a new challenge?
Our client, a Facilities and Workforce Management Industry leader is seeking a Regional HR/IR Officer to provide expert HR and Industrial Relations support across the Western Cape region.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ HR Functions:
• Manage and process all claims, including Injuries on Duty, Provident Fund, Disability, Retirement, and more.
• Ensure efficient follow-ups with employees, hospitals, funds, and relevant departments.
• Drive recruitment and selection processes for regional vacancies.
• Support operations teams with HR-related guidance.
• Assist with site mobilization when new contracts are awarded.
✅ IR Functions:
• Conduct and oversee disciplinary inquiries and ensure consistent disciplinary practices.
• Represent the company at CCMA/Bargaining Council hearings.
• Conduct weekly audits of disciplinary registers.
• Act as the primary contact for site demobilizations.
Minimum Requirements:
✔ Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
✔ Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred)
✔ 3–5 years of experience in HR & IR within the Security, Cleaning, or Parking Industry
✔ Proven track record in CCMA/Bargaining Council representation & arbitration
✔ Experience in unionized environments & large-scale site mobilization
✔ Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
✔ Valid Driver’s License and own reliable vehicle
