Position Overview:We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Financial Accountant to join our close-knit team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance, and supporting the Group's growth through robust financial management. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Prepare trial balance sheets, perform reconciliations, and ensure that all records align.
- Draft financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Handle external regulatory reporting requirements and submissions.
- Participate in annual external audits, ensuring readiness and compliance.
- Provide a detailed analysis of financial data to support decision-making.
- Prepare income tax calculations and ensure timely submission.
- Oversee payroll inputs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects that drive operational improvements and growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
- CA(SA) is essential!!
- Proficiency in Sage 300 or MS Dynamics is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in financial accounting, ideally within a multi-entity environment.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and audit processes.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a small, collaborative team setting.
