Minimum requirements for the role:
Must have a Bachelors Degree in Food Science or equivalent Minimum 5-10 years solid technical background and commercial/sales experience Previous experience in the flavour and colours industry as well as tasting proficiency is essential B2B experience in ingredients, particularly in flavours and colours, with Food/Beverage account management being a strong advantage Possess the ability to interface effectively with commercial and technical contacts from a range of companies Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and to prioritize accordingly Fluency in English and proficiency in IT Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel when required
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Working alongside the Account Managers. Maintaining and growing Taste sales in the local market to existing Taste customers. Developing Taste sales in the local market to customers just buying other company ingredients. Introducing the company and their Principals to target companies not currently working with them. Presenting the company and Principals Taste capabilities, trend analysis, and end applications with the aim of capturing Taste briefs. Working closely with the commercial team and Principals to answer briefs and prepare proactive presentations. Developing a pipeline of Taste projects and following these through to end sales. Identifying more opportunities to cross-sell the company product range. Formulating the Taste strategy for the market segments covered. Fostering excellent relations with Principals and key customers.
