Responsibilities:Update internal databases (e.g., client requests and tutor responsibilities). Review classroom or curricula topics and assignments to align with learning objectives. Assist students with homework, projects, test preparation, research, and other academic tasks. Work closely with students to ensure understanding of key concepts, particularly those covered in class. Communicate with teachers and parents to track student progress and provide feedback. Create an online file to store all student work for yearly records. Develop a lesson plan for each lesson and maintain it in the learners file. Conduct a weekly spelling test if the learner is enrolled in a language course. Plan and administer tests/assessments each term to monitor learner progress. Record all online lessons for future reference and student review. Requirements:
South African unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34. Must not have participated on the programme before.
A Bachelors degree or diploma in Education or a related field with specialization in the required subjects. Teaching .we are looking for a candidate that can teach Intermediate phase and senior phase students Computer Literacy Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Zoom, and other online teaching tools. Lesson Planning & Assessment Ability to develop lesson plans, assessments, and track student progress. Record-Keeping Skills Must be able to maintain digital student records and organize all student work. Communication Skills Strong ability to engage with students, parents, and colleagues to enhance learning. Online & In-Person Teaching Must be comfortable teaching both online and in a physical classroom. Location Must reside in or around Durban or Ntuzuma for accessibility to in-person lessons when needed.
