Description:
Minimum Requirements:Bachelors degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications in forestry or environmental conservation (if applicable). 5 years of experience in forestry, land management, or conservation. Knowledge of forestry legislation, policies, and best practices. Experience with GIS and remote sensing tools is an advantage. Key Skills & Competencies:

Forest Management & Conservation Develop and implement forest management plans. Monitor tree growth, health, and biodiversity. Implement reforestation and afforestation programs. Prevent and manage forest diseases, pests, and invasive species. Sustainable Resource Utilization Conduct timber harvesting operations while ensuring sustainability. Oversee forest product management, including wood and non-wood resources. Promote sustainable land use practices. Compliance & Environmental Protection Ensure adherence to forestry laws and environmental policies. Conduct environmental impact assessments. Collaborate with government agencies, conservation groups, and stakeholders. Wildlife & Habitat Conservation Protect wildlife habitats and promote biodiversity. Implement conservation projects in partnership with environmental organizations. Conduct ecological surveys and habitat assessments. Community & Stakeholder Engagement Educate local communities on sustainable forestry practices. Engage with landowners, policymakers, and industry professionals. Participate in public awareness campaigns on environmental conservation. Research & Data Collection Conduct field surveys and analyze forest data. Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for forest mapping. Prepare reports and recommendations based on research findings.
