Hire Resolve's client, a leading financial services firm , is looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join their dynamic team in Pretoria or Bellville . The BDM plays a crucial role in supporting the Advisory Sales Executive (ASE) in driving revenue growth for a designated group of financial advisors. This role focuses on implementing strategic initiatives, leveraging advanced technology, and expanding the client base while also recruiting and integrating new advisors into the firm. - Support the Advisory Sales Executive (ASE) in driving revenue growth and advisor recruitment.
- Manage a focus list of 25 advisors , ensuring a 12.5% annual revenue growth through strategic initiatives.
- Recruit 7 new advisors annually who meet specific profile criteria.
- Implement Group-related initiatives like cross-selling, AUA conversion, and GC margin improvement.
- Ensure advisors actively use Connect, Marketplace, and Connect to enhance client engagement and portfolio management.
- Provide performance feedback and improvement strategies to advisors.
- Develop business development plans aligned with company growth objectives.
- Conduct and share market analysis insights to guide decision-making.
- Maintain strong relationships with advisors to ensure loyalty and alignment with firm objectives.
- Address advisor needs and provide solutions for retention and satisfaction .
- Facilitate training and workshops on Connect, Marketplace, and Connect for advisors.
- Represent the company at sales events to enhance brand visibility and attract advisors.
- Monitor and report sales performance data , adjusting strategies for revenue growth.
- Evaluate the impact of technology tools on advisor performance and recommend improvements.
Requiremenrs
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- RE 1 and RE 5 (Advantageous).
- Diploma in Financial Planning or CFP Certification (Advantageous).
- Minimum 5 years in financial services, focusing on sales, business development, or advisor management .
- Fluent in Afrikaans & English
- Proven experience in driving revenue growth and managing client relationships.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills .
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other business-related software .
- Results-oriented, independent worker with adaptability to market changes.
- Professional, ambitious, and motivated by performance-based incentives .
