Description:
Purpose of the Job :
To provide support to Company's departments, particularly the supervision departments by reviewing the disclosure, advertising and marketing strategies of the financial institutions as well as supporting related supervisory thematic reviews. The person will also be responsible for conducting market research activities, on-going media scanning and monitoring financial sector advertising and marketing approaches. The person appointed to this position will report to the Senior Manager.
Key Performance Areas :
• Conduct on-going scanning and analysis of media both social and online campaigns;
• Support supervision and regulatory framework department in monitoring market developments and developments developing and implementation of framework for supervision;
• Conduct relevant research on local and international regulatory and supervisory approaches;
• Write quality research reports and make necessary presentations;
• Assists in reviewing marketing, advertising and disclosure materials and strategies /approaches of regulated entities;
• Assist the department with ad-hoc projects; and
• Perform such other tasks necessary or desirable to enhance the performance of the department.

Requirements :
A degree in Economics, Commerce, Marketing or Business Management with at least 3 - 5 years relevant experience in the financial services industry. The candidate must have a good knowledge and exposure of the financial sector, practical research methods and report writing, as well as advertising and marketing strategies, including practices adopted by financial institutions to promote their products and services.
