This is a permanent opportunity for a CA(SA) with 5 years of experience in financial management and exposure to the African market. You will be responsible for overseeing the full financial function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and more, all while supporting business growth and operational efficiency across multiple African regions.
Duties:
Oversee the full financial function, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the business. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Provide financial insights and analysis to assist senior management in decision-making and strategic planning. Manage cash flow, working capital, and cost control initiatives. Lead and support the finance team, ensuring efficient execution of financial processes and driving continuous improvement. Assist with tax compliance and filings, including VAT, income tax, and statutory returns. Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and enhance overall operational efficiency. Provide leadership in board-level budgeting and forecasting, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regional goals. Manage financial operations across various African countries, ensuring consistency and compliance with local regulations. Present key financial data to senior leadership, highlighting trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications & skills:
A CA(SA) qualification is required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with exposure to African markets and regional financial operations. Proven experience in managing full financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
