Description:
A job opportunity is available for our client a pretigious mining company for the position of Newcastle Regional Sales Representative. This role reports directly to the Newcastle factory sales manager. The primary purpose of this position is to sell productsboth technically and commerciallyto existing and new customers within a designated geographical area or market segment. The successful candidate will play a key role in the company's success, growth, and sustainability by achieving sales targets to ensure that revenue and volume goals are met.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Achievement of set targets, objectives, and budget for the year:
 Sales forecasting, budgetary input, and market updates.
 Promote the companys products and acquire new business in accordance with company policy and production capacities.
Maintain & improve established CRM programs:
 Address all customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
 Ensure a continuous supply of stock and product availability at the outlet level.
 Maintain customer contact frequency, quality, and relationships according to established targets.
 Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the companys customer base and strengthens its market presence.
 Identify emerging markets to uncover new sales opportunities.
 Oversee local and regional sales promotions and campaigns.
 Promote products and sales to all hardware retailers in the region, identify potential customers, and engage them to drive sales growth.
Management of ad hoc sales projects:
 Serve as a project member or leader for various ad hoc projects.
Market intelligence:
 Gather market intelligence for various regions across all sectors.
Reporting:
 Weekly reports on customer visits should include a call schedule and provide consolidated feedback on a monthly basis.
Compliance:
 Ensure compliance with all relevant legal prescriptions and regulations.
 Adhere to company policies and procedures.
 Understand and comply with company, statutory, and legal requirements.
 Follow Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards.
 Enforce adherence to established requirements.
 Advise management on necessary actions.

 Support the team by achieving the necessary results.
