One of my leading manufacturing clients in Johannesburg East has an opportunity for an experienced Financial Manager with strong business acumen and a background in costing. The business is part of a large group of companies based in the East of Johannesburg. The role requires a skilled Finance Manager who will be the 2IC to the General Manager and manage a team of 9 subordinates across finance and operations.The duties of this role include presenting company budgets and forecasts, monthly and operational reporting including budget vs actual variance analysis, working capital management and will reporting directly to the General Manager.
Education & Experience:
- BCom
- CIMA/articles - preferred
- 5 years in a similar role
- Operational background
- Strong communication skills on all levels
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Manufacturing in a plant environment essential
- Costing background - beneficial!
- Accpac
- Management experience
