Managing 'key customer accounts' Servicing customers i.e. providing quotes, ordering and fulfilling customer PO's attending to daily RFQ's and quotations for various customers Good customer service skills Ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven department. Good written and verbal communication skills. Must pay attention to detail. Reading through RFQ’s/Tenders to identify all requirements. Sourcing the best possible price, price requests needs to be sent to 3 or more different suppliers, compiling spreadsheets with all items, specifications and quantities from the document. Calculation of selling prices, markups to be discussed with management. Completing and submitting all required documents within the stipulated time frame, including covering letters with amended terms and conditions, going back to back with suppliers. Assist with the preparation of tender documents. Putting together completed tender document, making sure that the correct commercial documents are attached and the label is correctly typed out. Completion of waybills and checking if documents have been collected and delivered by the courier. Completion of data base/vendor forms. Ability and patience to deal with difficult suppliers/customers. Check websites on a daily basis for new RFQ’s/Tenders. Arranging the collection, commissioning and certifying of relevant documents for tenders. Commercial Documents - Identification of missing documentation and the ability to drive the necessary action to obtain this documentation. Maintaining hard copy and soft copy records and logging details of all submitted tenders/RFQ’s. Planning and organizing skills. Maintaining a supplier data base. Making contact with new buyers and building a data base. Maintaining a spreadsheet for previous works, orders and reference letter for tender submissions. Follow up if tender and RFQ being awarded,..if no ..why not?? Identify and Verify fraudulent RFQ’s/Tenders and notify management. Team work. Filing of relevant records/documents for archiving. Assisting with any ad-hoc duties which are assignedLocation and Travel Requirements
