Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of mechanical workshop.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to standardize workshop activities.
- Monitor workshop performance and ensure efficiency in service delivery.
- Coordinate with regional workshop managers to align objectives and strategies.
Technical & Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all repairs and maintenance activities meet industry standards and company policies.
- Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections.
- Keep up to date with the latest mechanical technologies and ensure workshops are well-equipped.
Health, Safety, and Compliance:
- Ensure workshop adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement safety training programs for workshop staff.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage workshop budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Optimize resource allocation and control expenses.
- Analyze financial reports and implement cost-saving initiatives.
People Management:
- Lead, train, and develop a team of workshop mechanics, and technicians.
- Establish performance targets and conduct regular evaluations.
- Promote a positive work environment and ensure team motivation and engagement.
Customer Service & Stakeholder Management:
- Ensure excellent customer service and quick resolution of service-related issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and external partners.
- Work closely with other departments to align workshop operations with business objectives.
