Duties:
Oversee full accounts receivable functions, including generating debtor invoices, performing debtor reconciliations, following up on outstanding balances, and nurturing customer relationships. Manage and process monthly payroll, including salaries, wages, benefits (e.g., Retirement Annuities), and payroll journal entries. Prepare and process monthly variance reports. Ensure the timely submission of regulatory reports. Ensure the accurate and timely payment of statutory obligations such as PAYE, UIF, and SDL. Handle cashbooks and bank reconciliations for multiple companies, including those with foreign currencies. Maintain the fixed asset register and manage depreciation calculations. Perform VAT calculations and reconciliations. Capture credit card transactions. Process monthly journal entries. Record employee reimbursement expenses. Handle general journal entries (accruals, provisions, prepayments). Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Conduct analytical reviews and provide management with actionable insights. Assist with year-end audit processes. Prepare and submit financial reports to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
Strong understanding of IFRS
Proficient in accounting software, including Sage 300
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
