Description:
Primary Requirements For the Position:- 2-3 years of experience in software testing, preferably within the Supply Chain industry.
- Experience with various types of testing including manual, automated, functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Strong knowledge of software development and testing methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
- Hands-on experience with testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Jira, TestRail) is ideal.
- A tertiary qualification such as a National Diploma, Degree, or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Personal Requirements for Software Testers:
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing and bug tracking.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Developers and other team members, to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly report on test results and defects.
- Ability to follow strict testing procedures and maintain high standards of quality.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to document test cases, results, and defects accurately.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to contribute to the improvement of testing processes and practices.
Secondary (Advantageous) Requirements For the Position:
- Experience with testing in the international Supply Chain or related industries, such as Logistics or Freight Forwarding.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and scripting.
- Experience with API testing and integration testing.
- Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in software development.
