Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare year-end statutory accounts for UK-based limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
- Prepare corporation tax computations and returns.
- Handle daily bookkeeping and prepare/submit monthly and quarterly VAT returns under UK VAT schemes.
- Prepare high-quality management accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Liaise with UK clients to resolve queries and provide exceptional service.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior team members.
- Support Partners with ad-hoc accounting and compliance tasks as required.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Recently qualified CA.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS.
- Experience with accounting software such as CCH, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and Alphatax (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, both remotely and in person.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- A proactive team player with the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
