Hire Resolve's client is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team in Pinetown, Durban. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional with experience in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, analysis, and process improvements, ensuring accurate financial management and compliance.Responsibilities
Fixed Asset Register: Implement and update the asset register in Sage X3 V12.
CapEx Reviews: Analyze CapEx requests, conduct financial calculations, recommend prioritization, and monitor projects.
Support to Management Accountant: Assist with financial reporting and budgeting, preparing analyses, and transitioning into a Management Accountant role.
Financial Analysis: Assess business processes, identify cost-saving opportunities, and participate in financial projects.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiency improvements.
Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Collaboration: Work closely with teams to gather and analyze financial data.
Requirements
Matric and an Accounting Degree.
3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (Advanced Level).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferably in a chemical or manufacturing environment
