Hire Resolve's Client is seeking to hire a SHEQ Officer to join the team in Epping. They are to ensure the company’s operations comply with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards, with a strong emphasis on food safety. The role involves implementing, monitoring, and maintaining food safety programs to ensure the safety of all packaging materials used for food products, as well as compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.Key Responsibilities:
- Food Safety Management: Implement and maintain food safety programs (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
- Compliance & Regulation: Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and standards.
- Training & Awareness: Provide training on food safety protocols and conduct internal assessments.
- Quality Control & Assurance: Monitor packaging materials, production processes, and final products to ensure food safety.
- Incident Management: Investigate food safety incidents and report corrective actions.
- Continuous Improvement: Recommend and support improvements in food safety and packaging processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Quality Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in food safety within the packaging industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP).
- Experience with food safety management systems (FSMS) and audits.
- Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
