Description:

Hire Resolve's client , a leading provider of renewable energy solutions, is currently seeking a Commercial Sales Representative to join their team in Cape Town.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and Generate Leads:

    • Identify and target potential commercial clients interested in solar energy solutions.
    • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitor activities.
    • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Consultative Sales:

    • Collaborate with clients to assess their energy needs and provide customised solar solutions.
    • Conduct on-site evaluations to gather relevant information for proposal development.
    • Clearly communicate the benefits of solar energy and address client concerns.
  • Proposal Development:

    • Prepare comprehensive and competitive proposals based on client requirements.
    • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure accurate project specifications.
    • Present proposals to clients and address questions or objections.
  • Contract Negotiation:

    • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and payment schedules to secure deals.
    • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure contracts meet company standards.
  • Relationship Building:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
    • Provide excellent customer service to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in commercial sales, specifically in the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • Strong understanding of solar energy systems and their benefits.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license.
