Description:
Key Responsibilities:Process Optimization: Analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement, enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
Lean Manufacturing: Implement lean manufacturing principles such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and waste reduction techniques to improve workflow and streamline operations.
Six Sigma Projects: Lead or support Six Sigma projects to minimize defects and variability in production processes, ensuring higher quality and consistency.
Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to assess key performance indicators (KPIs), production rates, downtime, and other metrics to identify opportunities for process enhancements.
Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to diagnose production inefficiencies and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Cost Reduction: Collaborate with finance and operations teams to develop and implement cost-saving initiatives, monitor savings, and track the ROI of process improvements.
Standard Work Development: Create and maintain standard work procedures, work instructions, and training materials to ensure consistency across operations.
Employee Training: Provide training to production teams and staff on lean methodologies, CI techniques, and industry best practices to foster a continuous improvement culture within the organization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, quality control, and supply chain teams to align improvement initiatives with business objectives.
Project Management: Oversee or support multiple CI projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and providing regular progress updates to leadership.
Technology Implementation: Evaluate and introduce new technologies or automation solutions to enhance production processes and operational efficiency.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure all CI initiatives comply with industry safety regulations, environmental policies, and company standards.
Requirements:
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in a Continuous Improvement Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, process optimization, and waste reduction techniques.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and process mapping software.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead cross-functional teams and train staff.
Experience with automation and new technology implementation is a plus.
Knowledge of industry safety regulations and compliance standards.
