- CNC Programming: Use ProNest and SigmaNEST software to generate CNC programs for plasma cutting machines based on technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Material Nesting: Optimize material usage by generating efficient nesting layouts, minimizing scrap, and maximizing material utilization using ProNest and SigmaNEST.
- Program Optimization: Analyze cutting paths, parameters, and machine settings to enhance cutting speed, quality, and efficiency while minimizing downtime and wear on equipment.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Review technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to understand the cutting requirements and ensure accurate programming of parts and components.
- Machine Setup: Work with machine operators to set up plasma cutting machines according to the programmed parameters. Ensure machine readiness and program accuracy before starting production runs.
- Quality Control: Monitor the cutting process to ensure that cuts are precise and meet required quality standards. Troubleshoot any issues with the programs or cutting operations that may arise.
