Our client is looking for a Sales Administrator to join their team in Cape Town, WC. The ideal candidate is an organized and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting a dynamic sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Handling customer queries and updating the customer database.
- Communicating with customers regarding product changes and updates.
- Managing information required for customer FTP sites and ensuring they are up to date.
- Relaying important customer feedback internally.
- Raising NCR/NPI/ECO and ensuring distribution to relevant parties.
- Raising, tracking, and following up on customer samples.
- Liaising with logistics to ensure timely delivery.
- Updating the customer sales forecast system.
- Providing the sales team with sales and product information.
- Preparing monthly reports.
- Coordinating team meetings, including minute-taking.
- Organizing customer visits.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 and a relevant qualification in Administration or Finance.
- Proficiency in MS Office packages and experience working with an ERP system.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales Administration.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry or a relevant technical field.
- Proven track record in a customer-focused environment.
- Strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work outside of regular work hours when needed.
- Hands-on, process-driven approach.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong sense of ownership, ability to meet deadlines, and self-motivation.
- Salary: negotiable.
