Duties:
- Oversee the full financial function, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the business.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage forex transactions and currency exposure, ensuring effective management of foreign exchange risk.
- Lead and support the finance team, ensuring efficient execution of financial processes and driving continuous improvement.
- Provide financial insights through analysis to assist senior management in decision-making and strategic planning.
- Assist in cash flow management, working capital optimization, and cost control.
- Ensure adherence to tax compliance and filings, including VAT, income tax, and statutory returns.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes, enhancing operational efficiency.
- Manage board-level budgeting and forecasting, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Present key financial information to senior leadership, highlighting trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications & skills:
- A CA(SA) qualification is required.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in financial management within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in managing full financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
- Strong forex management experience, including dealing with currency risk and exposure.
