A key player in the mining and construction sector is seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer to manage HR operations, employee relations, and compliance. This role requires a hands-on professional with expertise in HR management, payroll systems, and union engagement.Key Responsibilities:
Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning Manage employee relations, disciplinary processes, and grievance handling Handle full HR function, including payroll (SAP/SAGE) and compliance Facilitate training, development, and performance management initiatives Engage with unions and manage labour-related negotiations Ensure audit compliance and generate key HR reports
Ideal Candidate:
Qualifications: HR Degree (Professional HR membership is a plus) 6-8 years in operational HR, preferably in mining (negotiable) Strong as an HR generalist, with payroll (SAP/SAGE), and union negotiations Congolese local, ideally based in Kolwezi Age: Below 50 years Stability: No job hoppersseeking a committed professional Proficiency in English required
