Job PurposeTo improve an organizations market position and achieve financial growth in the South African region. This involves working with internal teams and marketing staff to increase sales and maximize revenue. Key responsibilities include identifying potential customers, converting them into clients, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and presenting solutions that meet their future needs. Additionally, it requires identifying necessary activities and resources, reviewing strategies as needed, and reporting to senior management on any required changes.
Minimum Requirements
Marketing or Business Degree or suitable business experience Knowledge of key trends driving consumer success Business-to-business sales experience Marine market knowledge Excellent product knowledge of product categories Management skills and sales experience
Key Responsibilities
Provide opportunities to continuously build relationships outside the standard Dealer base of the current external sales team's portfolio Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business. Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization Plan approaches and pitches. Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the clients needs, concerns, and objectives Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales Meet and maintain relations with key potential Business to Business customers. Build and create business opportunities Consider and identify previously undeveloped potential market segments Enter previously untouched markets with the aim to increase revenue generation and market coverage Ensures that departments likely to be affected by any new activity have been involved in developing activities Elicits views of potential customers and uses them to develop counter-arguments or new positioning Marine retail, semi-commercial and commercial customer management with focus on ensuring continued growth and management of portfolio accounts Develop new Channels according to product roadmap Must be achievement motivated at all times Maintain and adhere to internal and external systems and procedures Inform all relevant departments of commitments and changes to plans Takes responsibility to ensure commitments are met Keep all informed of progress of key tasks Ensure stock management and rolling forecasting accuracy
