Key Responsibilities:Financial Management & Reporting
Preparing financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement). Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records. Performing financial analysis to support business decision-making. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP). Managing Financial records for the business and Trusts Establish and maintain Trust accounts. Recording and managing Trust income expenses and distributions. Ensuring Trust assets are correctly accounted for and reported. Administering distributions to beneficiaries per the Trust deed. Budgeting & Forecasting
Preparing and monitoring budgets. Conducting financial forecasting and variance analysis. Advising management on cost control and efficiency improvements. Tax Compliance & Audits
Preparing and submitting tax returns (VAT, Income Tax, PAYE). Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Coordinating and assisting with internal and external audits. Identifying tax-saving opportunities. Accounts Payable & Receivable Management
Overseeing invoicing, payments, and collections. Reconciling accounts and managing cash flow. Reviewing and approving supplier and customer transactions. Internal Controls & Risk Management
Implementing financial controls to prevent fraud and errors. Conducting internal audits and financial risk assessments. Ensuring adherence to corporate governance principles. Business Advisory & Strategic Planning
Providing financial insights for business growth. Advising on investment opportunities and financial risks. Requirements:
Professional accounting qualification (e.g. AGA, PA). Articles completed Proven experience in financial accounting, management, and analysis. Strong knowledge of accounting software (experience with Omni is a plus). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with SARS submissions and tax compliance. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Salary: R35 000 - R40 000 monthly
