Key Responsibilities:
Ensure a seamless guest journey, from arrival to departure.
Engage with guests, addressing feedback and resolving concerns.
Monitor guest satisfaction and implement improvements.
Lead and uphold high standards across all guest-facing teams.
Enforce a zero-tolerance disciplinary code, ensuring professionalism.
Collaborate closely with Finance and Reservations teams.
Schedule and conduct training to enhance service delivery.
Communicate occupancy changes and room moves to relevant departments.
Conduct regular training on updated SOPs.
Oversee PIT check procedures to guarantee top-tier service.
Manage monthly reconciliation of Front Office external supplier accounts.
Oversee O-status and Management Accounts.
Optimize resource management and minimize waste in the Front Office.
Manage Front Office floats, including reception and forex.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.
Requirements:
Matric + Tertiary qualification in Hospitality or Hotel Management
Valid Drivers License
Willingness to work shifts, including night shifts
Minimum 3 years experience as a Duty Manager or Assistant Hotel Manager
Previous 5-star hotel experience essential
Strong computer skills (Protel & MS Office proficiency)
Attention to detail & results-driven mindset
Innovative thinker with a passion for service excellence
Team player with strong leadership skills
Personal & professional integrity of the highest standard
Certification in First Aid, Fire Fighting, or Health & Safety is an advantage
