Skills and Experience required:
Proven experience managing high volumes of transactions in a fast-paced environment A solid background in bookkeeping, up to trial balance Strong reconciliation and financial management skills Proficiency in relevant accounting software (Sage, Pastel or SAP would be advantageous) and MS Excel Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
Key duties and responsibilities: Debtors & Creditors Management: Ensure all accounts are accurately maintained and reconciled. Bookkeeping to Trial Balance: Manage financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness. Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly management accounts Reconciliations: Perform bank, creditor, debtor, and balance sheet reconciliations. General Ledger Posting: Accurately post transactions and maintain the GL. Journals: Create and maintain journal entries to ensure financial integrity. Cashbook Management: Maintain a comprehensive cashbook to track daily cash flow.
