Description:
Requirements:- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS and regulatory standards.
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, debtor, and creditor accounts.
- Oversee general ledger maintenance and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to drive financial performance.
- Perform and review insurance-specific financial transactions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Assist with internal and external audits, liaising with auditors and resolving queries.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports to relevant financial authorities.
- Ensure compliance with tax, VAT, and other statutory requirements.
- Address ad hoc financial queries and support business decision-making. Requirements:
- BCom Accounting / Finance or equivalent qualification.
- Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles
- 2+ years of post-articles experience
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and insurance financial reporting standards.
- Experience with financial systems and ERP software
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
