Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical systems for bulk materials handling, including conveyors, chutes, feeders, hoppers, and transfer points. Perform structural and mechanical calculations to ensure system integrity, efficiency, and durability. Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including electrical and project engineers, to deliver turnkey solutions. Conduct site visits for design validation, troubleshooting, and commissioning support. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 35 years of experience in bulk materials handling design. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks). Strong understanding of materials flow, wear factors, and structural integrity. Experience in mining, industrial, or processing environments is advantageous.
