Minimum RequirementsPrevious experience in Industrial Equipment parts Postgraduate Diploma and prior experience in Parts Management and/or Inventory Management Drivers License Managerial experience in a parts department. Ability to make calculations such as discounts, freight estimates, dimensional weight, invoices, and percentages. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Autoline Experience advantageous Good knowledge of Parts Stock ordering and Controls. Responsibilities
Maintaining strict control over inventory levels ensuring correct levels of parts availability Regular review of purchase price Achieve an acceptable market share, through maximizing sales of parts to trade and distribution to customers. Manage the implementation of governance, compliance, integrity, and ethics. Implement processes to identify, manage risks and expose liabilities Source, manage, identify and address customer needs by providing a variety of related parts, products and accessories Implement people resource planning in line with delivery, performance objectives, and budget. Managing the receiving, shipping and storage of all freight, products, and local/international supplies Ensuring all orders are shipped to customers Communicating all delays or variances in inbound/outbound freight Planning warehouse layout and space requirements to prevent loss or damage Considering full implications of freight turnover, size, weight, and other factors when allocating warehouse space. Enforcing company policies regarding security and safety to maintain a safe working environment. Investigating causes of lost or damaged shipments and other matters, where necessary. Perpetual and annual stock counts
