JOB CONTEXT:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Telecommunications Manager to oversee and manage the design, installation, and maintenance of telecommunications systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that communication services are operating smoothly, efficiently, and securely within the organization. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to maintain a seamless communication network for internal and external operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Network Management:
Oversee the planning, installation, maintenance, and optimization of telecommunication networks, including voice, data, and video communication systems.

Team Leadership:
Manage, mentor, and lead a team of telecom professionals, ensuring performance goals are met and fostering a collaborative environment.

Vendor Management:
Coordinate with telecom service providers and suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met, and managing vendor relationships.

Budgeting & Cost Control:
Develop and manage the telecommunications departments budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or performance.

Troubleshooting & Problem Solving:
Lead efforts to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to telecommunications systems, minimizing downtime and disruptions.

Project Management:
Plan, execute, and manage telecommunications projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and meeting organizational goals.

Compliance & Security:
Ensure that telecommunications systems comply with all industry standards, regulations, and security protocols to safeguard against data breaches and system vulnerabilities.

System Upgrades:
Monitor emerging telecommunications technologies and recommend upgrades or enhancements to improve system performance and reliability.

Reporting & Documentation:
Provide regular reports on system performance, project status, and cost management to senior leadership, maintaining thorough records of all telecommunications activities.

Key Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in
