- Project Coordination: Manage and coordinate mechanical and electrical project activities, ensuring that all work is completed on schedule, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
- Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, identifying critical milestones and coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support for M&E systems, including wet serv, plumbing, electrical installations, and other related services.
- Budget Management: Assist with the preparation and monitoring of project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented without compromising quality.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure that the procurement and delivery of materials and services align with project requirements.
- Quality Control: Oversee quality control processes, conducting regular inspections to ensure that all M&E work complies with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all M&E project activities comply with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and any issues that require attention.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical and electrical project coordination within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of M&E systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical installations.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit).
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
