We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer - Medium Voltage to join our growing team and play a key role in designing and implementing medium-voltage electrical systems.Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop medium voltage electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and distribution networks. Perform electrical load analysis, fault analysis, and system simulations to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards. Conduct detailed engineering studies and feasibility assessments for medium-voltage systems. Specify and select electrical components and equipment based on project requirements. Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, schematics, and reports. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Mechanical, Civil, and Project Engineers, to ensure the smooth integration of electrical systems into larger projects. Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of medium-voltage systems, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the design, construction, and operational phases of projects. Provide technical support and guidance to Junior Engineers and project teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Experience in the design and implementation of medium-voltage electrical systems. Strong knowledge of medium-voltage equipment and systems, including circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, and protection schemes. Proficient in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, PowerFactory, DigSILENT). Experience with electrical system analysis, including fault studies, load flow, and short-circuit calculations. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different departments and stakeholders.
