KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:You will have completed a degree in an Engineering discipline (Electrical or Civil), coupled with a PMP or equivalent certification and 5 plus years experience managing construction of renewable energy projects on site, with preference in the PV, BESS and/or CSP plant projects You will have a proven ability to organize and manage an integrated project team and support cross-divisional managers to achieve results and meet deadlines, within the international quality standards. A sound knowledge of HSE, Construction principals, Project Planning, Document Control, Engineering , Economic Development and Public Relations is essential to be able to effectively and efficiently manage projects You will have exceptional communication skills, be able to communicate at all levels, as well as be able to draft informative and accurate reports on progress. You will show exceptional leadership skills, as well as being able to work in a cross-functional team to ensure successful hand over of the project within the allotted deadlines and time frames, be results and solutions orientated. You must have a valid drivers license, own car, be able to travel between Cape Town and various Northern Cape sites and be prepared to reside on site for lengthy periods. A clear criminal /credit record and contactable references are essential
