Description:
Duties:Digital Marketing: Manage and update the website and ensure content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand guidelines. Create, schedule, and monitor posts across social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Coordinate email marketing campaigns, including newsletters and targeted mailers, ensuring high-quality content and design.
Content Creation: Collaborate with the team to develop engaging content for social media, blog posts, and press releases. Work with photographers and videographers to create high-quality visuals showcasing the property, events, and experiences. Write and edit copy for marketing materials, ensuring it aligns with the tone of voice and branding.
Brand Management: Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand standards. Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to inform marketing strategies.
Requirements:
Grade 12
Hotel Management / Marketing Diploma or Degree
Project management experience and time-management skills for juggling numerous time-sensitive projects
Familiarity with various marketing platforms and channels, including social media, print campaigns, digital marketing and email promotions
Strong analytical skills to evaluate marketing metrics effectively
High degree of creativity and innovation to develop unique, effective marketing strategies
Experience with computer software programs used for keyword research, A/B testing, database management and content creation
Market research experience and an understanding of how to identify target audiences
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail with a passion for delivering high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent interpersonal skills for representing organizations during media events, product launches, product demonstrations and trade shows
