Civils Superintendent (PV Solar)

Description:

Our client, an international renewable energy company, focused on PV solar projects seeks to employ a Civils Superintendent, with SACPCMP registration, and a background large to mega scale PV construction projects, to join this progressive and expanding professional team. Please note that we do require a candidate who is SACPCMP registered, with experience in the renewable energy sector and have a willingness to work on remote sites in the Northern Cape and Gauteng/Limpopo region KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:

• You will have a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, registered SACPCMP, coupled with 10 plus years experience in civil/ infrastructure construction projects, with at least 5 years expertise in PV renewable projects.
• You will have a proven track record in managing safety, coordinating and supervising civil works, as well as supporting QA/QC to meet requirements and industry standards.
• You will have a background in budgeting, scheduling and resource planning for projects.
• Solid understanding of interpreting construction/civil drawings, implementing and adhering best practices and ensuring legislation is adhered to and coordinate subcontractors.
• You must have excellent problem solving skills, be an effective communicator and organiser and a motivating leader.
• You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
