Opportunity Available!! Our leading client in the Manufacturing Sector is looking to employ a Junior Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team in Woodstock - Cape Town. Job Responsibilities: Develop and implement quality control systems and procedures to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards. Perform inspections, audits, and tests to identify defects or deviations from specifications. Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions to resolve quality issues. Collaborate with manufacturing and design teams to develop and refine processes for continuous improvement. Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and records. Support product development and engineering teams in defining quality requirements and standards. Train and mentor production teams on quality standards and best practices. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality engineering techniques. Job Requirements: Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2-3 years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role. Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.). Proficient in using quality tools and software (e.g., statistical analysis software, SPC, FMEA). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on continuous improvement Must have drivers license SECTOR: Manufacturing
