Storeman with Buying Experience Wanted! Join a leading independent manufacturer of industrial weighing equipment in the Western Cape. We seek an organized, proactive Storeman with buying experience to support our growing team. Duties: Counter Operations: Interact with fitters, boiler shop, customers, suppliers, and couriers. Prepare delivery and goods received notes. International Logistics: Check in and receipt overseas shipments. Create labels for new items. Stock Management: Document and allocate stock issues. Perform stocktake reconciliations and variance checks. Manage stock receipts. Procurement: Purchase stock and non-stock items. Handle supplier invoices and buyout costs. Meet supplier deadlines and liaise with suppliers for product availability. Order Fulfilment: Pick items for various needs. Pack and arrange courier bookings for sales orders. Manufacturing Support: Manage allocations, timesheets, and job tracking. Manufacture items into stock and update BOMs. Project Planning: Plan new installations and projects. Load job estimates and meet end-of-month deadlines. General Duties: Organize and maintain the store layout. Conduct stock reconciliations, monthly checks, and manage variances. Required Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with Accpac. The Company offers a competitive salary with provident fund.
