Modac Cape Town is looking to add an energetic Junior Technical Assistant with a positive disciplined attitude.
This role is ideal for a technically trained, customer-focused individual who enjoys problem-solving, building customer relationships, and contributing to the technical department.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a team where you will be able to add value within the Server Room/Datacentre, infrastructure and Back-up power Industry.
You would be required to assist the senior technician in the following -:
- Installation and servicing of equipment
- Delivery and collection of stock from Suppliers
- Stock control, job cards submission to Head office
- Assembly and repair of products
- Stock take counts / stock movements within DC
- Vehicle checks
Preferred requirements -:
- 1-3 years of experience working with UPS’s, Inverters, solar, electrical, network cabling and airconditioning.
- Compulsory -driver’s license
- Forklift license (optional) Salary - R8000-R10 000
